Babyloss Awareness Week
There are lots of events taking place to mark baby loss awareness week which takes place from 9th-15th October. The Miscarriage Association are using this time to encourage people to talk openly about babyloss, hence breaking the silence and taboo which can often exist around this subject.
“..it’s a special opportunity to mark the brief lives of babies lost in pregnancy, or during or shortly after birth. This year, the Miscarriage Association is asking our supporters to help us start a national conversation about baby loss. It’s not always an easy conversation to have, but with one in four pregnancies ending in miscarriage, and one in a hundred ending in ectopic or molar pregnancy, it’s likely that we all know someone who has been affected.” text from MA website http://www.miscarriageassociation.org.uk
